SlovSEFF III is the EBRD's first credit program financed by a market mechanism. Profits from the sale of emission credits from the Slovak Republic to Spain are used to achieve a reduction in additional greenhouse gas emissions through investments within SlovSEFF. Examples of eligible projects: Combined heat and power generation (cogeneration) on site by burning natural gas, biogas or biomass, Projects to change fuel from high carbon (coal, lignite) to low carbon  

Possible usage of the funding instrument in the P2G context: This funding instrument cooperates with Slovak banks and can be used as a tool to lower a loan for building a P2G hub.
