The purpose of the Program is to increase the energy efficiency of public buildings for schools and improve the quality of the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions by decreasing annual final energy consumption. The program aims at modernizing public buildings for schools, by financing activities / actions specific to investments to increase their energy performance, by processes to improve the thermal insulation of the building envelope or the introduction, rehabilitation and modernization, as appropriate, of facilities for the preparation, distribution and use of heating and hot water, ventilation and air conditioning systems, mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery , including passive cooling systems, as well as the use of renewable energy sources and the implementation of energy management systems aimed at improving energy efficiency and monitoring energy consumption.
Possible usage of the funding instrument in the P2G context: Increase of renewable energy use can open perspective for P2G hubs development.
