PROGRAM PENTRU CREșTEREA PRODUCțIEI DE ENERGIE DIN SURSE REGENERABILE

Program on increasing energy production from renewable sources

Country Romania
Influence of the
financing instrument
Indirect
Thematic Scope electricity generation or consumption suitable for coupling with P2G hubs
Type Investment Funding
Legal/Financial Form interests co-financing

The objective of the Program is the non-reimbursable financing from the Environmental Fund of projects aimed at increasing the production of energy from renewable sources. Capitalization of renewable energy resources: solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, biomass, biogas, gases from fermentation of waste / sludge treatment, for the production of electricity and / or heat; The program also aims to produce green energy and achieve environmental standards by reducing pollution but also reducing dependence on imports of primary energy resources mainly fossil fuels and improving security of supply. In addition to all this, the program also ensures the protection of the environment, by reducing polluting emissions and combating climate change.

Possible usage of the funding instrument in the P2G context: Given the fact that it does not target a single type of renewable energy, but takes into account all of them (solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, etc.) the energy flows generated will be significant. They can be inserted in the network, but they can also supply P2G type hubs, which can be built around them.
