The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund is granting funds to extend the charging grid for electric vehicles and to introduce hydrogen charging stations.
Possible usage of the funding instrument in the P2G context: In terms of this project, in case the hub would include electrolyzer and produce hydrogen, the funds could be used to set up a charging station for hydrogen powered cars.

Eligibility Criteria | All legal entities in Croatia are eligible, the grant can be used for costs related to construction of one or more charging stations (min. total power of 50 kW DC or 22 kW AC, min. 11 kW per AC charger, must have a system for payment, analytics and reporting; no technical constraints are posed on hydrogen charging stations). Eligible costs are the installment work, equipment, payment and analytics system implementation. |
Co-Financing Rate | 40%, max. 200.000 HRK (~25.000 EUR) per project. |
Volume | Total amount allocated is 10.000.000 HRK. |
Duration | Project should be realized within 12 months after the grant is received and the contract is signed. |
Limitations | Cost for connecting the station to the grid is not eligible, costs of building a local RE plant are not eligible. |
