The construction of a new facility for the production and processing of renewable gas can be supported by an investment subsidy. 

Possible usage of the funding instrument in the P2G context: Directly applicable for an investment in P2G hubs, under the condition that all eligibility criteria are adhered to.

Eligibility Criteria The facility is not a facility for the conversion of electricity into hydrogen or synthetic gas and the renewable gas is fed into the gas grid or used directly for final consumption and, if biomass is used, no more than 25% of the fuels used consist of the crops grain and maize and there is a concept for the supply of raw materials and, in the case of biogas slurry, an additional concept for its utilization for at least the first five years of operation.
Co-Financing Rate subsidy rates of up to 30% of the investment volume (excluding land) directly required for the construction of the facility.
Volume annual funding for investment subsidies amounts to 25 million euros
Duration not specified
Limitations The facility must be commissioned within 36 months of the conclusion of the funding contract.
