|Influence of the financing instrument||Direct|
|Thematic Scope||power2gas technology biomass|
Funding is available for new plants and reconstructions for the production of sustainable fuels (liquid and gaseous biofuels). The following types of plants are eligible for funding: Biogas plants for biomethane production incl. the processing technology for feeding into a gas grid or for use as fuel; Thermal gasification plants for the production of process gas from biomass incl. the processing technology for the production of liquid and gaseous fuels; Production plants for the manufacture of second-generation biofuels. Those based on food crops are excluded.
Possible usage of the funding instrument in the P2G context: Directly applicable for an investment in P2G hubs, under the condition that all eligibility criteria are adhered to.
